History
The Friends of the Library is a non-profit volunteer group organized in April 2002 to help the DeMary Memorial Library. Friends recruit volunteers and raise funds for services and improvements that the library budget does not provide.
Mission Statement
We believe libraries are a great source of information for people of all ages. We believe using the Library should be a pleasurable experience and want to encourage the community to use the Library by creating additional reading programs, improving the appearance and encouraging continued growth.
We use the money raised from book sales to help the Library with things that are not in their budget. Past projects have included audio books, shelving units, lighting, landscaping, exterior signs, and new chairs for the computer lab.
A suggestion box is available for your ideas about whatever you think the Library needs or improvements you would like to see done.
